Should I go traveling or get an apartment and settle down?

So here’s the question. I have been traveling for a few years now, but I always come back to work in Alaska in the summer. I have the opportunity to go on a cruise to Asia and then I was thinking of heading down to Australia and hanging out there for the winter. My other option is to stay in Alaska, or any other city i chose, and get an apartment and a job. The advantage to the latter is stability - a home, job, insurance etc. So I really don’t know which one to chose!

Your age would probably determine my answer. If you’re young I say see as much of the world and visit as many places as you can. I’m sure as you know by now, seeing how other people live and meeting others gives you a great perspective on life. It will help you immensely later on in life.

Now if you’re getting up there in age, over 28 lets say. But again not for me to say, thats all your choice. You are going to have to start a career off and settle down. Try and decide what you’re going to do with your life. Then once you decide that you might want to go to college or start getting experience in your field. You don’t want to be 30 and working at Starbucks and not afford nice stuff or a house do you? You’ll definitely have regrets later on if you do that.
