I need to cancel my Royal Caribbean cruise which is about 45 days away?

I got the insurance with my travel agent. How much can I get back at this point? Can I get money back for my deposit and non-refundable flights since I got the insurance?

You need to read the fine print AND contact the travel agency. You will PROBABLY have to forfeit a cancellation penalty. And the airfare is probably not covered by the travel insurance.

It depends on the reason for the cancellation. If it is a covered reason then your insurance will pay. If it is not a covered reason, then your insurance will not pay.
From Royal Caribbean you will loose your deposit. Once you get down to 30 days you will loose 50% of the cruise cost.

Contact your travel agent. It depends on the reason you are canceling.
You better do it soon. Sometimes even with insurance there are penalties that can’t be recovered from the insurance company.
Good Luck)
