Each ship has it’s own top speed. Go to it’s web page and find out and then do the math.
But, they very rarely do top speed, they over the years have found a sweet spot, best fuel economy, and they try to run at that speed. Plus if they have 10 hours to go 100 miles they travel at 10 miles per. But if they need to do the 100 miles in 5 hours they will do 20 m.p.h.
Sorry But how can you find an average when there is no constant.

You must figure in weather conditions. They are not going to go top speed in high seas. Also depends on their schedule. Safety & comfort comes first.

Figure 20-25 mph. It would be 50-60 hours.

Assuming that you mean 1,250 nautical miles and assuming that the ship makes an average speed of 20 knots, and that the weather is really good (not much wind, calm seas, no swells) it would take the ship 54 to 55 hours to make that distance.
(20 knots are 23 miles per hour)
So all depends on the ship, the average cruising speed and the weather conditions.
Average cruising speed is somewhere between 20 and 25 knots

It depends on what it says in the cruise line brochure, If the brochure says 2 days at sea, then it will take the cruise ship 2 days at near top speed (20 -21 knots). If the brochure says 3 days at sea, then it will be 3 days at a slower speed.
The Queen Mary 2 has a top speed of 30 knots (35mph) so could do 1250 miles in 36 hours.
The Freedom of the Seas has a top speed of 21.6 knots (24.9mph) so could do 1250 miles in 50 hours.

First convert miles into nautical miles.
1250 miles is 1086 nautical miles.
Each cruise ship has a different cruising speed. I worked on a ship that had a cruising speed of 25 knots…so at 25 knots it would take about 44 hours. We rarely got up to 25 knots though, I think one of the few times we did is while crossing the Atlantic.
21 or 22 knots is a more average cruising speed, and it would take about 49-51 hours to go 1250 miles/1086 nautical miles,
