Disney Cruise - Some More Questions?

Hi guys… Just a couple more questions. 1. I was told that it’s Hurricane Season when I sail the Bahamas in mid September. Should I reconsider sailing to the Bahamas at a later date? 2. If I do decide to procede with my September departure, should I purchase the Travel Insurance for the trip that cost $229 extra?

That’s your preference some people won’t travel during hurricane season and some like me…….travel when ever ……..as for Travel Insurance, always take it. You read about stories all the time, another good point is purchase your air through the cruise with their travel insurance, this way if the airline does a schedule change and you miss your flight or need to be re-booked your are covered…….

You can purchase travel insurance from companies outside of the cruise line. It usually runs from $40 - $70, definitely worth looking into. Just search online for one of these companies.

If there is a hurricane approaching the ship will steer clear of it’s path. That being said, you may not make it to the original port of call so be prepared for that.
I prefer sailing during this time due to the typically calmer seas ( unless there is a storm ) & the great rates!
You should be able to find travel insurance less than that, look into travelguard.com… it is what I use for all of my clients & they are very good at keeping up their end of the deal
Have a great time!
