heavenlysin187 asked:

We are planning on going on the 12 day Hawaiian cruise leaving on the Carnival Spirit from Ensenada and ending in Honolulu in April of 2009. Anyone have any experience with this cruise? Any advice? Should I get a travel agent, or use the insurance for the trip? I went on a cruise once when I was 17 but I wasn’t involved in the planning of it. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks!

What happens to my cruise when I find out I am pregnant?

Written by admin on June 7, 2009 – 7:29 am

DEEDEE asked:

Hi.
I am overjoyed as I am pretty sure that I am finally pregnant. The trouble is that we have booked a Virgin cruise for October when I will be about 7 months pregnant and not allowed on the ship! They took a huge deposit off us - around £3000 to cover deposit for the ship, flights and hotel before take off and I am worried sick that we could lose all of this money. If so it doesn’t seem fair as I am happy to travel if the pregnancy is uncomplicated but they would not take me.
I can’t believe that I could be left high and dry for committing the crime of getting pregnant!
Would it just be a case of ‘tough’ and them running off with my cash?
I have looked at my holiday insurance (which is the deluxe version) and it excludes pregnancy!
It is really taking the shine off my good news!
Anyone know what happens?

Disney Cruise - Some More Questions?

Written by admin on June 5, 2009 – 6:13 pm

HotRod asked:

Hi guys… Just a couple more questions. 1. I was told that it’s Hurricane Season when I sail the Bahamas in mid September. Should I reconsider sailing to the Bahamas at a later date? 2. If I do decide to procede with my September departure, should I purchase the Travel Insurance for the trip that cost $229 extra?

Can I reschedule a cruise?

Written by admin on May 31, 2009 – 2:03 pm

Curious1 asked:

I had planned to take a 4 night baja/mexico cruise on Sept. 3. Now something has come up that won’t make it possible to travel. Is it possible to reschedule the cruise for the following week? What are my options? I went through a travel agency and I haven’t purchased the insurance.

Cruising questions from a first-timer?

Written by admin on May 27, 2009 – 11:22 pm

URwhatUread asked:

My husband, daughter (will be 6) and I are planning on a cruise to Alaska May of 2008. We definitely want to go on the inside passage. My questions…..

1. Is it best to book your cruise as soon as they are released for purchase? We want to do a budget cruise the first time out.

2. I have heard some say they didn’t pay until they went on the cruise. How is that possible? Deposit? Anywhere I have looked they ask for full payment.

3. How do you get the free upgrades I have heard of? ie: better cabin if the ship isn’t full.

4. If the price of your cruise goes down after you book, do you get the lower price? How?

5. Should I get a travel agent? Is there any cost to me? And can they really save me more than the internet?

6. Do you recommend travel insurance?

7. We are thinking of going on NCL. Is the room service really free? 24 hours? How is the food?

8. Anyone know about NCL’s kid’s club?

Thank you to anyone that takes the time to answer my many questions

Hello, have a question regarding carnival cruises, did I pay too much?

Written by admin on May 24, 2009 – 7:46 pm

supersupau2002 asked:

Okay, I had a last minute cruise decision with a friend of mine and I that we wanted to attend. We signed up for Carnival. We booked within 6 days before the cruise (we are leaving this Sunday, May 25). They said they were almost sold out and had 1 room left. So we decided to take it. So they charged us a total of 1800, total for 2 people (900 each of us) without medical insurance.
So we got the small room with no window, but its on the upper deck area, not at the bottom area. All ammenties (food, drinks (non alcholic), activities are included)

My question for a last minute deal, within 6 days of traveling this reservation, is this a fair deal? (including this last minute)

Ken S asked:

I am looking to book a cruise and I am hoping to get luxury accommodations while paying regular class rates. I figure there has to be discounts out there to do this.

I was wondering if anyone had actually been on a cruise from Security Travel USA?

Written by admin on April 7, 2009 – 3:10 am

Haley W asked:

I won a supposed “free” cruise from Security Travel USA and have had to pay a lot of fees. Clearly, it is somewhat of a scam and I have accepted. I know a lot of people have won this and realized it was a scam and not done it but i’m going in March and was wondering what the trip is like and what the ship is like if anyone has done it. Thank you.

Are there any vacational cruise lines that allow people 18 and over to travel alone?

Written by admin on April 6, 2009 – 5:44 pm

Lauren B asked:

A group of friends and I want to plan a cruise and we are all 19… However, most cruise lines require people under 21 to travel with someone who is over the age of 25… Are there any cruise ships that travel to the Caribbean’s that will allow my friends and I to travel alone?
