Once you reserve a cruise you would need to get a confirmation of how much money and for what you paid that to the travel agency.
Once you’ve paid all you need to get the booking confirmation, which should tell you the ship, the cabin, the itinerary and all other details (like when you will have to be onboard), your flight itinerary, if you booked flights, details on what you need (Passport, Vaccinations if applicable etc)

Anja is correct. If you have purchased travel insurance, that will usually be sent directly to you from the insurer not long after you book the trip. Be sure to keep those papers! So far as the actual “tickets” for your cruise, you will get those anywhere from a month to a week before your actual departure. They are sent from the cruise line to the travel agent, who will get them to you.

    Have a wonderful trip!

You just get your booking number. Once you have that, you can do all kinds of things on line like book your shore excursions, prepare for your cruise, and get other details. You will want to go through the cruise company check list well in advance and fill out all forms on line. About 30 to 45 days before your cruise, you travel agent will send you your luggage tags and any other documents you will need. I know with Princess cruises, you can even download your own boarding pass on line. It makes the boarding time go pretty fast when you do this. One more thing, when you book through a regular travel agent, you often get a little goodie in your cabin, like some flowers or a bottle of wine. That’s always nice.
